Military squadron members from Vandenberg Air Force Base near Lompoc, California learned about the healthfulness and versatility of kale from our chef Garrett Nishimori. He teamed with a registered dietician from Vandenberg's Health and Wellness Center to do a cooking demo that promoted healthy eating, with recipes and nutritional information for the squad, whose job, by the way, is to diffuse bombs. They tasted our SuperKALE Salad with Zesty Orange Vinaigrette and Avocado Tomatillo Vinaigrette, chowed down on our MexiKALE Pizza and slurped this delicious Kale Confetti Soup.
