Braised Shredded Collards

Serves: 8


2 lbs Cut ‘N Clean Greens Shredded Collards
6 ounces bacon, lardons
1 large onion, diced
5 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/8 cup apple cider vinegar
2 cups chicken stock
Salt and pepper to taste


Cut bacon into lardons and brown in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and caramelize. Add garlic, paprika, smoked paprika, and brown sugar. Add apple cider vinegar and chicken stock to deglaze and bring to a simmer. Add Shredded Collards and simmer until greens are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
